Dans sa série « Définition », il juxtapose sur différentes feuilles de Plexiglas de multiples points noirs ou de couleurs pures afin d'obtenir un mélange optique. Les silhouettes qu'il trace et superpose impriment un instant fugace, cellules figées dans le temps qui attendent le regard du spectateur pour être lues. Le côté automatique de sa technique est rompu par l’imperfection du geste, celui de sa main qui, lorsqu'il pose le point, accepte l'accident pictural.
